Virtus.pro won Copenhagen Games 2015 following a 2-0 victory against Team SoloMid (16-14 on de_cobblestone and 16-10 on de_inferno).
Having come from the Upper Bracket, Virtus.pro came into the series with the advantage in the veto process as they got to pick the first map and make the first two vetoes.
The first map of the series was de_cobblestone, where Virtus.pro got off to a flying start on the Terrorist side by winning the opening five rounds of the game. The two teams then exchanged a couple of rounds, but the Polish side regained control of the proceedings and went into the break leading by seven rounds.
Many expected that Virtus.pro had this one in the bag, but Team SoloMid crawled back into the match with some good offensive moves of their own and brought the game to a 14-14 stalemate, when Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas's men picked up two rounds in a row to close it out.
Snax had some important rounds on de_inferno
Next up was de_inferno, which followed a similar pattern to the previous map as Virtus.pro were sitting on an 11-4 lead after the first 15 rounds. Team SoloMid then found a lifeline as they won the pistol round thanks to a triple kill from René "cajunb" Borg in the pistol round as CT.
An incredible ace from Nicolai "device" Reedtz in the back of the A site during the first gun round kept TSM's momentum going, but just when the Danes were getting within touching distance of their opponents, Virtus.pro upped the pace and strung a few rounds together to walk away with the trophy they lost to Ninjas in Pyjamas last year.
